The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care. Responsibilities include treating residents, maintaining documentation, ensuring a safe treatment environment, and communicating with the healthcare team.
Candidates must have an Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program and be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state. Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively are also required.
