Performs non-discretionary tasks related to furnishing drugs under the supervision of a pharmacist. Responsible for filling and delivering unit dose cassettes from patient profiles to nursing units.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy. An associate degree and Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification are preferred.
