The Clinician provides direct clinical services including individual, group, and family psychotherapy and crisis intervention for diverse behavioral health conditions. They are responsible for treatment planning, timely documentation, and coordinating care with external community agencies.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and a valid New York State license (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW). A valid driver's license and proficiency in English are required, with Spanish bilingualism preferred.

We provide weekly clinical supervision aimed at promoting the effective accumulation of clinical hours. This structured support is designed to enhance professional development and ensure a comprehensive understanding of clinical practices.
The MHOTRS Licensed Clinician will offer individual, group, and family services for individuals of all ages and for a full range of behavioral health conditions. Our clinic delivers integrated behavioral health services with a robust team of providers. The Clinician is responsible for the provision of direct clinical services and coordination with other agencies serving the clients. The Clinician will demonstrate particular competence in providing trauma-related care, utilizing evidence-based approaches. The Clinician must possess the ability to engage and affect change through a person-centered model. The Clinician will demonstrate initiative, flexibility, creativity, and a collaborative spirit. The Clinician will support recovery by providing services that reflect our deeply held values that include the recognition of individual rights of self-determination, choice, shared decision-making, and collaboration. The Clinician will utilize evidence-based practices, embracing trauma-informed and person-centered approaches. The Clinician will demonstrate co-occurring competence to deliver services that are integrated and holistic.

This is a Mandated Reporter position. The NYS Justice Center legislation defines anyone who has regular and substantial contact with any person with special needs as a “custodian” under the law and, therefore, a mandated reporter. You can be held liable by both the civil and criminal legal systems for intentionally failing to make a report.
