The CMA is responsible for assisting providers with patient care, recording medical histories, and performing clinical tasks like venipuncture. They also ensure exam rooms are prepared according to OSHA and infection control protocols.
Requires a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and national certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NCMA). Candidates must have CPR certification and at least one year of recent medical assistant experience.

Hours may vary but shift examples include 8a - 6p / 9a-5p / 9a-4p;
Per the guidance of Axia Women’s Health patient protocol and care center physicians, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) professionally engages Axia Women’s Health patients by assisting with patient care, recording critical patient information, and providing information to patients so that they may fully utilize and benefit from our clinical services.
