Provide holistic case management and crisis intervention for individuals and families, with a focus on migrants arriving after January 1, 2022. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing service plans, and helping clients navigate social service systems to achieve self-sufficiency.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or at least four years of experience in social services. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
This unique position’s primary function is to fulfill Catholic Charities commitment to serve individuals and families in an inclusive and holistic manner. An integral part of the Case Management team, the Case Manager will be based in the Yonkers and travel within Westchester County as needed. The position provides direct assistance for those in need through case assistance and case management services. This position will have a particular focus on New Yorkers who arrived in the United States on or after January 1, 2022, as part of the Assistance to Migrant Program.
$30.21 per hour, this is a non-exempt hourly position based on a 35 hours work .
Education and/or experience required: Bachelor’s degree required or at least four years of experience in the social services field. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required: Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of social service delivery systems and local resources. Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills.
