The provider will perform medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients with substance use disorders in residential and clinical settings. They are also responsible for overseeing team activities to ensure coordinated care and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their SUD team!
The Addiction Medicine Medical Provider is responsible for providing withdrawal management medical services as well as primary care services including assessing, diagnosing, and evaluation of injury and/or illness and ordering routine exams as well as treatment of acute and chronic health problems for patients with substances use disorders while in residential treatment. Depending on clinical need, the Nurse Practitioner may provide coverage at one of Adapts Opioid Treatment Programs or other primary care clinics. As part of 1.0 FTE, APC may be required to work some weekend and holiday shifts in withdrawal management facility and participate in SUD on call schedule. Specific work schedule is determined on a month by month basis by CMO.
