The LPN provides nursing care for acutely ill patients under the supervision of the department Director, Manager, and a registered nurse. Responsibilities include performing assigned procedures within the scope of practice as defined by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and hold a current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse License in Iowa or a Compact State, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. One year of Med/Surg nursing experience is preferred.

The LPN works under the supervision of the department Director and Manager, and the registered nurse. They are responsible for providing nursing care for acutely ill patients. The nurse performs assigned procedures that are within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State. Basic Life Support (BLS) Recent RN experience
