Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Family Medicine

As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the best possible patient outcomes while gaining valuable experience in a diverse practice setting.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a family medicine setting Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Administer vaccinations and perform minor surgical procedures as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Educate patients on preventive healthcare and wellness practices Stay informed about new medical technologies and treatments Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs

Requirements

MD degree from an accredited medical school Current state medical license to practice family medicine Previous experience in a family medicine or primary care setting Strong clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and practice demands

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Census: 12-14 per day

Support Staff

Additional MDs, APPs, pediatrician, OB/GYN, X-ray tech, etc.

EMR: RPMS

Any state license accepted

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
