The staff nurse provides direct nursing care to assigned patient populations within a clinic or service line. They are responsible for planning and delivering effective patient care following the Texas Nursing Practice Act and ANA standards.
Candidates must hold a current RN license in the State of Texas and maintain AHA Basic Life Support certification. A BSN is preferred, and national certification in the specialty is required within four years of hire.
