Take your medical assistant skills beyond the clinic!
Ready for a Medical Assistant role that isn't confined to the same four walls every day? Kinston Health is looking for a Mobile & Outreach Medical Assistant who wants to take their clinical skills into the community—supporting patients through home visits, mobile medical clinics, health screenings, community events, and traditional clinical care.
This is not your typical Medical Assistant position. You'll work alongside providers and clinical teams to deliver hands-on patient care while also helping individuals overcome barriers, navigate healthcare services, and connect with resources that can improve their health and well-being.
One day may take you aboard our mobile medical unit, another into a patient's home, and another to a community health event—all while using the Medical Assistant skills you've worked hard to build.
Bilingual in English and Spanish? Additional pay is available!
Kinston Health offers 3 weeks of PTO, 11 paid holidays, a 4% 401(k) match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and more.
Be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant in good standing.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have a valid North Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Have evening and weekend availability. Schedules are planned in advance—no surprise schedule changes!
