The RN Pre OP PACU is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing care for patients in the Pre-Op department, ensuring high-quality patient care. This includes performing assessments, providing pre-operative instructions, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the Pre-Operative area.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved nursing school and currently licensed in the state, with BLS and ACLS certifications required. A minimum of one year of experience in an intra-operative setting is necessary, along with demonstrated clinical competency and leadership skills.

Plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients of any age in Pre-Op department.
Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center.
Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members.
May have additional responsibilities as designated by the manager, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects.
