The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help administer treatment plans. They are responsible for providing patient care and reporting changes in patient conditions to the supervising therapist.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy, a state license as a COTA, and NBCOT registration. CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, under the general supervision of an Occupational Therapist, assists in administering the Occupational Therapists' treatment plan.
