The Surgical Technician is responsible for preparing operating rooms and supplies using aseptic techniques based on physician preference. They support surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and ensuring accurate counts of sponges and tools.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technician and meet state legal requirements for the role. A Surgical Technician Certification and experience with endoscopy are preferred.

What is in it for you Compensation is $36.00 - $42.00 per hour based upon experience.
Prepares for the pre-assigned cases using physician preference. Setting up the operating room prior to surgery. Opens supplies/instruments utilizing aseptic technique. Pass instruments to surgeons during surgery. Follows established policies and procedures as it relates to counting of sponges, instruments etc. Initiates corrective action when counts are incorrect. Anticipate the need of the surgical team and communicate effectively with the team to ensure quality of patient care. Perform any other duties assigned.
1-year surgical scrub experience (Preferred) Minimum of 3 yrs experience as a Surgical Technician (Required) Experience with Endoscopy Self-starter who works well independently Time management and skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organization with attention to detail Good attitude, professionalism, promote team structure Surgical Technician Certification (Preferred) You must meet the state requirements under the Surgical Technologist law to be considered for this opportunity.
