The Admissions Specialist is responsible for screening referrals and completing admissions for Children’s Crisis Residences. This includes managing the referral hotline, scheduling appointments, and ensuring all admission paperwork meets regulatory standards.
A Bachelor's degree in human services is required, with a Master's degree and one year of admissions experience preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and the physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting 25 pounds.
Manage the referral hotline and conduct referral screenings. Schedule admissions appointments. Coordination of admissions with co-workers ensuring families are welcomed to the Children’s Crisis Residences in a warm, conscientious, and timely manner. Review of admission paperwork to ensure fidelity to regulation and policy. Clerical duties related to referrals and admissions. Collaboration with the leadership team of each Children’s Crisis Residence. Screen incoming referrals and conduct admissions within and without typically scheduled work hours.
