The COTA/L is responsible for implementing personalized plans of care established by the OTR/L and physician. They provide professional therapeutic care to residents within a senior living community to improve their overall well-being.
Candidates must hold an associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and possess an active state license. Knowledge of AOTA code of ethics and the ability to supervise therapy aides are also required.
