The Speech Therapist evaluates and treats patients to restore or develop swallowing, speech, and communication functions. This includes administering standardized tests and monitoring patient progress through developed treatment plans.
A Master's degree and a state license or ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are required. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft software.
Candidate will receive an additional 40% of their hourly rate in addition to their base rate when working weekend hours. Position is also eligible for yearly annual increases. The Speech Therapist assists patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech and communication functions through evaluation and treatment.
Previous experience as Speech Pathologist Valid state driver's license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract. Analytical ability to administer and evaluate standardized speech/language tests, conduct swallowing evaluations, evaluate patients' capabilities, develop treatment plans and monitor patients' progress.
