Patient Care Assistant Per Diem

• Overview Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, this position assists the RN/LVN in the provision of patient care including patient data collection, oral care, bathing, assistance with ambulating and toileting.
• This position participates in quality patient care delivery, efficient patient flow and effective communication with the health care team.
• Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.
• This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center.
• It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center and AHMC Healthcare Inc.
• The employee shall support AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center’s strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience Certification (CNA), or 6 mos. previous Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Assistant experience and/or completion of the first quarter of an RN or LVN nursing education program. Licenses/Certifications Current C.N.A. certification preferred. Current BLS-HCP
