Licensed Practical Nurse - Methadone Clinic

RiseWell Community Services is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Methadone Clinic in our Clinical Department.

In this role, you will be providing health management and counseling, in conjunction with the psychiatrist, registered nurse as a member of a treatment team for persons with substance abuse disorders. Ensure medical standards as per program regulations are being provided.

Qualifications

Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York State Education Department. A valid and clean NY State driver license. Minimum 1 year of experience in a treatment or rehabilitation setting preferred. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from OASAS.

Essential functions

• Responsible for medication management, education and administration 2.
• Responsible to attend assigned meetings 3.
• Responsible to conduct all assigned visits 4.
• Responsible to oversee the accurate completion of all documentation 5.
• Maintain compliance with incident reporting guidelines 6.
• Responsible to comply with agency Compliance Plan and False Claims Policy by preventing, detecting and reporting any potential healthcare abuse and fraud.
• Report any potential non-compliance and comply with all other federal, state and local regulations applicable to this job description.

• Responsible for proficiency in all agency based IT applications 8.
• Provide education to clients and staff regarding standards of medical care 9.
• Responsible to perform all other job duties as assigned
