Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to the Clark and Madison County communities. The organization is looking to add a full-time Pediatric RN Nurse to represent the care team and coordinate patient centered care. This position assists Physicians and Nurse Practitioners with clinical and care coordination aspects of medical care for Rocking Horse Community Health Center patients. Position Title

RN Pediatric Nurse Primary Service Center: Springfield, Ohio – Onsite for South Limestone location. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly Position. Work Hours: Full-time Education Requirements: Minimum Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a Two (2) year college or technical school. Must be licensed in the State of Ohio. CPR certification is required – but can be obtained by RHCHC. QualificationsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. 2. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Ohio. CPR certification required. Applicable life support training (PALS/ACLS) preferred. Current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required. An individual who poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or others in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position. 3. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. 4. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 5. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. 6. Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software. 7.
