The Certified Medical Assistant assists medical and nursing staff with patient examinations and treatments, including taking vitals and administering medications. They are responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety and infection control protocols within the clinic.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a certificate from a Medical Assisting program. A current driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are also required.

The organization is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our South Limestone, Springfield OH location to assist our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. The Certified Medical Assistant assists medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients including taking patient vitals, blood drawing, administering immunization and medications including injections. Certified Medical Assistant Primary Service Center: Springfield, Ohio FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly position. Work Hours: Full-time position Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required in addition to a Certificate of Medical Assisting Program is required. One (1) to Three (3) years’ experience in a Healthcare setting preferred. Experience working with an Electronic Health Record Program (EHR) is a plus.
