Deliver Emergency Care That Makes a Difference Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in our Emergency Department. This position offers the opportunity to practice broad-scope emergency medicine in a rural, community-based hospital where your clinical expertise has a direct impact on patient outcomes. About Sheridan Community Hospital Sheridan Community Hospital is a critical access hospital dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care close to home. Our Emergency Department serves patients across Sheridan, Montcalm County, and surrounding rural communities, providing timely care for a wide range of acute and emergent conditions. Emergency Room Physician Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations Stabilize and resuscitate patients, managing medical and surgical emergencies Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory and imaging studies

Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited program Completion of an accredited residency program (minimum 3 years) Active Michigan medical license required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills
