Comprehensive Ophthalmologist To evaluate and treat Ophthalmology conditions and ensure proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery is provided. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

- Expect: · Perform comprehensive eye exams, prescribe medication, and perform ophthalmic surgeries within training scope including cataract surgery. · Diagnosis and treat eye disease and visual problems. · Provide patient care in medical and surgical eye conditions. · Educate patients on their condition and treatment options and work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

- Requirements: · MD or DO, completion of an ophthalmology residency · Board Certified or Eligible · Currently licensed or able to obtain license in the State of Georgia ·
