Provide a variety of patient care duties including medication administration, vital sign assessment, and record keeping under RN oversight. Assist with data collection, patient screening, and the implementation of physician orders in outpatient or long-term care settings.
Requires a degree from an accredited post-secondary nursing program and a valid Alaska Practical Nursing License. Must hold Basic Life Support certification and be capable of meeting physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
Working in a team, under the oversight of an RN, provide a variety of patient care duties including, but not limited to, passing medicine, vital sign assessment, observation, patient/family teaching, and record keeping that is focused on the comfort and health of the patients in the outpatient clinic or long term care units.
