Provide comprehensive care for patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions through assessments and individualized treatment plans. Perform bedside critical care procedures and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in ICU and general floor settings.
Must hold an MD or DO degree with board certification in Pulmonology or Critical Care Medicine. Requires an active medical license in North Carolina and proficiency in specific critical care procedures.

As a Locum MD/DO in Pulmonology and Critical Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. You will be involved in critical decision-making processes and contribute to enhancing patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
Provide comprehensive care for patients with pulmonary and critical care conditions Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient management Perform procedures related to critical care and pulmonary medicine Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification in Pulmonology or Critical Care Medicine Active medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on critical care Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pulmonary diseases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
Setting: General floor, ICU, and Neuro ICU
Patient Census: 12-18 per day + new consults
Duties: ICU rounding, pulmonary consultations, and bedside critical care procedures
Bronchoscopy, endotracheal intubation, central venous catheter placement, arterial line placement, and chest tube insertion
Support Staff: APP
EMR: Cerner Powerchart
Must be board-certified
