As a Cardiology specialist, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing comprehensive cardiac evaluations and treatments. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care, utilizing the latest medical technologies and methodologies.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases and conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care Provide education to patients and families about cardiovascular health Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Cardiology is preferred Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Knowledge of current cardiology practices and guidelines Strong organizational and time management abilities
Full-time scheduling
Call: 1 week of inpatient call per month, rare callback
Setting: 1 week inpatient and 3 weeks outpatient per month
Daily Volume: 22 patients in clinic
Annual Procedure Volumes: 22-23K echocardiograms, 1,300-1,400 TEEs, and 8K+ stress tests
Team Structure: 24 cardiologists currently + APPs
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation & Benefits: $525K annual salary + RVUs
