Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders through comprehensive patient assessments and endoscopic procedures. Collaborate with a healthcare team to develop care plans and maintain accurate patient records in an inpatient setting.
Must hold an MD or DO degree and a valid medical license for Arizona, with board certification in Gastroenterology. Proficiency in ERCP and Epic EHR is required, with EUS experience preferred.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders and diseases Perform endoscopic procedures and other necessary interventions Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in continuing education and professional development Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Valid medical license to practice in the state of Arizona Board certification in Gastroenterology preferred Experience in a clinical setting, ideally in Gastroenterology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Basic proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
In-house 7a-4p, on call afterwards
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Volume: 6-12 patients
Patient Population: Adults only
Procedures are required
ERCP required, EUS preferred
APPs, endo lab, RNs, techs, anesthesia, etc.
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
