The monitor technician is responsible for identifying cardiac rhythms and notifying nursing staff of any changes. They must maintain service excellence and perform other assigned duties within the hospital.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Completion of a Monitor Tech or Basic Arrhythmia class is also required.
