The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing patient charts, recording vital signs, and assisting practitioners during examinations. They also perform basic lab procedures, phlebotomy, EKGs, and administer medications under provider supervision.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be high school graduates with a Medical Assistant certification from an accredited institution and a current BLS-CPR certification. One year of work experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities Program Execution: Lead and follow scheduled activities, such as games, exercises, crafts and discussions Participant Engagement:Build rapport with participants, encourage involvement, and provide one-on-one companionship Documentation: Keep attendance records (PCC software) and monitor participant progress/behavior, reporting any changes to nursing or administrative staff Community Outreach: Collaborating with the community for events and assist in promoting events Assist with set up and break down of events, holiday decor and parties Executive daily rehab program with residents, when needed Job Requirements Required High school diploma or equivalent certificate CNA License within 6 months (we will help obtain CNA) Computer skills: Google mail, spreadsheets, documents, drive Point Click Care Preferred Self motivated, high energy, empathy, creativity, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
