The APP provides comprehensive women's health services, including pregnancy, menopause, and gynecological care. Specific duties include assisting in labor and delivery, triage, rounding, discharges, and cervical ripening for inductions.
Candidates must be an APRN or CNM with a Master's or Doctorate degree and a valid Ohio nursing license. 2-3 years of experience in women's health is preferred, along with BLS certification.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who may also be licensed as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and has been prepared with the appropriate graduate level education and authorized to practice and prescribe as such. The APP may provide a full range of primary care health women’s health services, including but not limited to pregnancy care, menopause care, annual gynecological care, and as directed by their state designated scope of practice.
