The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with communication and cognitive problems resulting from traumatic brain injuries. Responsibilities include implementing therapeutic techniques and managing prosthetic appliances to help patients regain independence.
A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required, along with state licensure and ASHA certification. Experience in acute or post-acute rehabilitation is preferred.
