The Anesthesia Technician prepares and maintains anesthesia machines and supplies while assisting anesthesiologists with patient care and monitoring. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe, aseptic environment and training new personnel.
Requires a high school diploma and certification as an EMT-B, CMA, CCMA, or CNA, with at least one year of healthcare experience. BLS certification is required, and clinical experience in ICU, ER, or OR is preferred.
