About the role

Manage a complex caseload within Adult Social Care, performing Care Act assessments and strengths-based interventions. Provide recommendations for equipment and adaptations while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to support hospital discharge pathways.

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join its client's Adults, Health & Integration Service.

This is a senior-level position offering the opportunity to work within a progressive London Borough, managing complex cases and supporting the wider OT service.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Manage a complex caseload within Adult Social Care
  • Complete Care Act assessments and strengths-based interventions
  • Undertake functional assessments within the community
  • Provide recommendations for equipment, adaptations & moving/handling solutions
  • Support hospital discharge pathways and urgent referrals
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT)
  • Provide guidance/support to junior staff where required
  • Maintain accurate and compliant case recording

Desirable

  • Previous Senior OT experience
  • Experience within a London Borough
  • Background in integration / health partnerships

Qualifications

& Experience:

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
  • Strong experience within Adults Social Care
  • Experience managing complex cases
  • Sound knowledge of:
  • Care Act 2014
  • Moving & Handling
  • Equipment & adaptations

Requirements
