A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field and excellent communication skills are required. Prior experience in clinical research or human subject studies is preferred.
Recruit and coordinate study participants, including both healthy individuals and patients with cardiovascular diseases. Contact potential participants via phone, email, and mail to assess interest and eligibility. Explain study objectives, procedures, risks, and benefits, and complete required documentation. Schedule and coordinate study visits with investigators and research staff. Assist with study setup, data collection, and data analysis. Experience/Education Requirements and Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse populations, including patients; strong attention to detail; bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field are required. Prior experience in clinical research or human subject studies, as well as experience recruiting participants for clinical studies, is preferred. This is a part-time position working 24 hours a week on campus. One year appointment with a good possibility of renewal each year.
