Perform various imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist, or Surgeon. Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients within the cardiovascular lab.
Requires graduation from an accredited Medical or Cardiovascular Sonography program and current ARDMS or CCI registration. An Associate degree and BCLS certification are mandatory.
Performs a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon.
Graduate of an accredited program of Medical or Cardiovascular Sonography.
Current ARDMS or CCI registration in echocardiography or vascular sonography.
Effective July 29, 2016, newly employed Imaging Technologist are required to possess an Associate degree.
BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date.
No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in all aspects of the position within three months of employment date.
