• Education · Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy required or · Other Pharm.D. required and · Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required Experience · 2 years hospital experience or residency preferred Licenses and Certifications · PHAR - Pharmacist upon hire required What You Will Do · Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork. · Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities. · Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care. · Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation.
• Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required. · Ongoing professional development and growth. · Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies. · Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available. · Other duties as assigned.
