Travel Registered Nurse Cath Lab Job

Responsibilities

• Provide Cath Lab nursing care for patients undergoing interventional procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedural support, and post-procedure monitoring
• Monitor hemodynamics, administer medications per protocol, and manage potential complications under the direction of the cardiology team
• Maintain sterile technique, ensure procedural readiness, and assist the interventional cardiology team during interventions
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately; communicate critical findings and changes in status to the team
• Adhere to hospital fire and life safety standards; participate in safety drills and ensure patient and staff safety
• May be required to float to alternate campus locations as needed and complete training at a designated campus

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience
• ACLS and BLS certification required (AHA standards)
• Floating to other campus locations as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced catheterization laboratory environment and collaborate with the cardiology team
• Active nursing license (per state requirements) and ability to practice in California
