Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications as prescribed, and document outcomes.
Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate as needed in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to ensure safety and quality of care.
Support discharge planning, education for patients and families, and adherence to infection control and safety policies.
