The Registered Pharmacist reviews physician prescriptions and existing therapies to ensure rationality and safety. They provide expert drug information services regarding dosing and interactions to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or PharmD degree and a current New York State Pharmacist License. A minimum of two years of experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office with a typing speed of 45 wpm are required.
The Registered Pharmacist will review physician’s orders (prescriptions) and existing therapy to ensure the rationality, provide drug information services to physicians, nurses and allied health professional with regards to dosing, drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, pharmacokinetics, rational drug therapy.
Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy.
NYS Pharmacist License (preferred) or NY State Pharmacist Licensure within 90 days of starting the residency training.
