Responsible for day-to-day test performance in the Blood Bank and maintaining general laboratory operations. Collaborates with other laboratory sections and institutional departments to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant science field and certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by the New York State Education Department. One year of relevant Blood Bank laboratory experience is required.
Blood Bank laboratory technologist, under the direction of supervisor, will be responsible for day-to-day test performance in Blood Bank and or other required duties to maintain laboratory operations. Required to work weekends, and holidays, collaborate with other sections of laboratory, as well as other departments within the institution, to provide highest quality patient care.
Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an approved program. Certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, by New York State Education Department. One-year relevant Blood Bank laboratory experience needed.
