The Licensed Clinician provides mental health and substance use disorder clinical services, including assessments, psychotherapy, and treatment planning. They are also responsible for care coordination, crisis intervention, and maintaining compliant clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and an active New Jersey license such as LCSW, LPC, or LCADC. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency with EHR systems are required.
Licensed Clinician (Behavioral Health – Mental Health & Substance Use Services)
/ Educational Requirements Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field. Active New Jersey license/credential in good standing (accepted credentials may include): LCSW / LSW LPC / LAC LCADC / CADC (as applicable to program/role) Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. Excellent written/oral communication and strong organization/time-management skills. Computer proficiency and ability to document accurately in EHR systems; NJSAMS familiarity preferred. Knowledge of NJ levels of care, MH/SUD referral pathways, and co-occurring treatment practices preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively (flexibility, accountability, professionalism).
