Per diem Speech Therapist (SLP)

• Description MVH is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to join the rehab team at our Augusta facility.
• We are the first nursing facility to embrace the Small House Model design in the State of Maine.
• We are a 108-bed skilled nursing home with all private rooms and on-suite full bathroom.
• There is also a 30-bed residential care neighborhood for those in the early stages of dementia.
• We are proud to serve our nations Veterans’ and provide excellent care to maximize their abilities.

The SLP evaluates and treats residents; communicates with residents, families, physicians, and other health team members; maintains documentation of services in the EMR; and conducts in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and MVH policies and procedures.

You would be joining a therapy team that is highly skilled and integrated throughout the facility.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited SLP program Possesses a minimum of a Master’s Degree in SLP Must have current State of Maine licensure as a SLP Experience in long-term care environment preferred
