As a Crisis Services Specialist, you’ll support individuals experiencing urgent behavioral challenges, helping them stabilize, feel safe, and regain control. Using applied behavior analysis (ABA) and positive behavior supports, you’ll play a key role in guiding individuals toward greater independence while ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide behavioral support and crisis intervention for individuals with complex needs
  • Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Track behavioral data and complete required documentation
  • Assist with daily living tasks (hygiene, meals, transportation, etc.)
  • Administer medications and support medical needs
  • Support community involvement and social connections

  • Strong de-escalation and crisis response skills
  • Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in high-stress situations
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Basic computer skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of direct support experience (including 1+ year with high behavioral needs)
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
