The Crisis Registered Nurse assesses medical needs and develops treatment plans for clients in mental health crisis settings. They are responsible for administering medications, documenting patient care, and coordinating admissions and discharges.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved RN program and hold a valid Registered Nurse license for the state of Tennessee. Current BLS certification and experience working in a mental health or crisis setting are required.
The Crisis Registered Nurse will work with Crisis Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to ensure continuity of care for all CAC and CSU clients. The Crisis Registered Nurses (RN) will ensure all medical crisis functions are completed as required.
Graduate of an approved RN program. Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
Licensed Registered Nurse to work in the state of TN.
Current BLS certification required.
In order to appropriately accomplish his/her duties, the person occupying this position must maintain effective relationships with Crisis Managers, Crisis Director, ACT and AOP Managers, Alliance management team, and community members
