In our PRN Float Pool position role you will be supporting our Cleveland Clinic Nursing Institute, supporting 9 different hospitals, including Euclid, Main Campus, Hillcrest, South Pointe, Marymount, Medina, Avon, Fairview and/or Lutheran. The ideal candidate is someone who: · Can work independently. · Is comfortable traveling to a new place and working with different people every day. · Is flexible enough to work variable shifts and at different hospitals (only one hospital per shift). Performs accurate and complete admission assessments within defined time frames. Assesses and documents patient's pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols. Prioritizes and documents patient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team. Establishes and implements plan of care in collaboration with other disciplines that promotes wellness and facilitates the discharge process. Monitors and documents patient's condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions. Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes. Other duties as assigned.

Education

Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 3 years of hire.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.

Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
