The technician performs technical and clerical functions including order entry and processing. They are responsible for testing and reporting waived and moderately complex kit test results according to CLIA guidelines.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and one year of experience in a hospital or laboratory setting is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift 25 pounds and stand or sit for long periods.

$17.20+ per hour Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The Support Technician performs various technical and clerical functions, under the supervision of the supervisor or designee. Duties may include: order entry, processing, testing, (including Point of Care patient testing) and reporting of waived and moderately complex kit test results as allowed by organizational and CLIA guidelines. The standard of ethical and professional performance must be consistent with established medical laboratory practice.
