The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring wound conditions while developing individualized care plans for residents. They serve as a clinical resource and educator to improve the overall quality of wound care and prevention within the facility.
Candidates must hold a valid state RN license and preferably have 2+ years of experience in wound care management, specifically in long-term care. A degree in nursing or related sciences and a Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) certification are preferred.
