The RN independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients following physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act guidelines. They manage a group of assigned patients while emphasizing collaboration, communication, and empowerment.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school and hold a valid Georgia RN license. A minimum of two years of experience in procedural nursing, OR, PACU, or Critical Care is required, along with BLS certification.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
REQUIRED Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in procedural nursing (GI Lab, Cath Lab, EP Lab), Operating Room, PACU or Critical Care area. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. PREFERRED Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse. BSN degree Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units. Work Hours: 7AM-7PM Weekend Requirements: Yes
