The Homefinder ensures safe and nurturing homes for children in foster care by completing initial certifications and annual recertifications. This involves collaborating with outreach recruiters, foster parent applicants, and case planning teams in compliance with OCFS and ACS regulations.
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and possess knowledge of the Child Welfare System and foster care regulations.
