Provide direct resident treatment under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
Help residents improve independence with daily living activities
Educate residents and families on safety, fall prevention, and home programs
Assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and training
Maintain timely and accurate documentation
Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, physicians, and families to support resident progress
Participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
Contribute to a positive, supportive, and compassionate care environment ✅ Qualifications:
Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state
CPR certification (if required by state licensure)
Experience in skilled nursing preferred, but not required
Familiarity with Net Health and PointClickCare is a plus
