Essential Functions
Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician.
Provides age-appropriate care to patients across the lifespan.
Maintains supplies and ensures a clean, orderly work area; notifies supervisor of needed items.
Maintains and calibrates equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
Acts as a consultant and educational resource for physicians and staff regarding appropriateness and accuracy of scans.
Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be a graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiology program with ARRT, ARDMS, or CCI certification. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, and one year of experience is preferred.
